1 April 2022 - EU ETS 2021 emissions up by 7.5 % (preliminary figures)

EU ETS

 

Data published by the EU Commission show a 7.5 % increase in greenhouse gas emissions across the EU ETS participants (scope : EU 27) for the year 2021. 91% of emissions reports have been published so far.

Moreover, CO2 emissions from airline companies included in the EU ETS have increased by 11.6 % (preliminary data).
